Terms of Use

Last updated: July 2025

By using Zemvia you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Who we are

Zemvia is operated by Benjamin Osten, based in Basel, Switzerland. You can reach us at hello@zemvia.app.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 16 years old to use Zemvia.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Zemvia to harass, threaten, or harm others; to post spam or misleading content; to violate any applicable laws; or to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems.

4. Expected behaviour & enforcement

Zemvia is built to foster genuine community. We expect all users to treat each other with respect. The following describes how we handle misuse:

⚠️ Warnings

A first violation of our acceptable-use policy will typically result in a warning by email. Examples include posting off-topic content, mild harassment, or spamming loop invitations.

🚫 Temporary suspension

Repeated violations, or a single serious violation (e.g. targeted harassment, sharing personal data of others without consent), may result in your account being temporarily suspended.

Permanent deletion

Accounts found to be engaged in illegal activity, severe harassment, or repeated violations after warnings will be permanently deleted without further notice. Communities may also be removed if a community administrator repeatedly violates these Terms.

To appeal any enforcement action, contact us at hello@zemvia.app.

5. Content

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant Zemvia a non-exclusive licence to display that content to other members of your community.

6. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Account section of your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Limitation of liability

Zemvia is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Basel-Stadt, Switzerland.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email for material changes. Continued use of Zemvia after changes constitutes acceptance.
